mixed media artist
Drawing and ultimately painting started for me when I was just a small boy asking my grandmother: “What can I draw?” She would always answer: “You can draw me some money from the bank." Eventually the joke lost its humour and I stopped asking. But art to me has never been a joke. It’s always been a way of capturing how we view the world and what’s around us all. It’s a way to connect one another in a unique, fun, engaging way.

I have always loved working with oil paints but they can be very unforgiving. Learning to oil paint has meant that I have had to learn to accept that it is okay to make mistakes. Over the years though I have learnt that, in fact, mistakes don't exist at all. Mistakes are simply a way to build up the pictures, add character and depth and bring a sense of belonging to a painting.

I love creating a scene on canvas. Reminding people of somewhere familiar is something I am hugely passionate about. I now want to bring this passion into other people's lives by sharing my artwork and producing unique pieces which people will not only admire and enjoy forever but feel that sense of ownership, that sense of belonging.
